im thinking of buying one of these second hand off a lad i know for my f13 gearbox, i am mainly getting it beacuse i use my nova for autocross and grass track, i have the power but i need more grip lol. i will be using my nova for rallysprints and track days aswell and i wondering is their any advantage of the diff on tarmac?

You'd be better off trying to get a plate diff if your using your nova on the green/brown stuff ;)

plate diffs are more suited to the loose stuff than the ATB (quaiffe) as they wont just let the free spinning wheel keep spinning.

i went to look at the diff and its a 90% plate diff, would the diff still have the hole for the spedo drive? beacuse i have a x16xel engine in my car and it needs the vss conected to the spedo and gear box

Just fitted a Tran-x lsd diff to my F13 box the speedo drive wheel did not fit any more but with some messing about it would have done. Give the lads at Tran-x a phone call and they will give you all the info you need I found them very helpful. If your going off road then you must use a plate diff.

usually. but its a delicate job as the rings are brittle as fook.
