For the old evo... Just a heads up on people opinions.
Thought it was going plain white? lol
With orange how, metallic, parts painted orange, pearlescent/candy?
Nothing better than random/ bright colours lol
Ive changed my mind lol, Solid orange ALA porsche GT3 rs colour with this grey

Flint grey,
there are two names for it, ones Europe and one american. Flint grey is american the other is urm somthing else.

With reguards to this Wrapping lark...
Whats the actual costs to wrap a car? £500 - £600 quid?
I can paint the whole car for £350 inc materials without a problem, i guess if i couldnt paint it would work out cheaper, but to get it wrapped when im a painter isnt making sense to me mr stu lol
I know you love the wrapped thing but when i stack it into a fence or bush or whatever from behing a hero on a B road I can just repair it as opposed to tking the stuff off to then repair the damage and then re wrapping.
It just seems like a lot of hassle if i come to sell it or wrap it up. "excse the pun" :thumb:

its started life in white, it looks clean it should stay white (IMO)
its an evo not a saxo, its doesnt need a trip paint job with candy apple glitter flip miscarriage nonesense

but stu has a good point, get the whole car wrapped, and then it can go back to white (FTW), theres a company who does this in stoke, forgot there name but i saw some of there work at Auto sport show , was good!!!!!!!!!
to get a "pro" to wrap the car you are looking at the wrong end of a Grand+ :(
to buy the stuff to DIY its from £50 to £300 depending on the materials and ammount used. I'm going to start with some slightly shorter lifed vinyl as its cheaper and if I knob it up I've not lost lots in materials... plus If I want to change the colour its only £50 a time lol
Lots of people like a car to have original paint, so if you change its colour then go back to white then some folks might not want that and it could hit the resale value of the car. Whereas with a wrap you just peel it off and voila OEM paint.
I guess its swings and roundabouts really.

Its only an evo that's the thing its not like its a proper car to be honest and has a double fig price to it, the paint is bollocks its been buffed by a twelve year old gaylord and has gone through in some places it has more buffing lines than I care to talk about so in general its ****ed.

in that case, paint away as its paint is shagged.
if it was new good paint then I'd wrap it.
or in my case, too lazy and tight fisted to get the vx painted so wrappage will win.

Peugeot Astor Grey is a nice grey colour.

But evos going for a Dark grey solid colour and orange wheels, i dont think the metalic would work too well. and solid grey is pure hardcore :D

Two years may be a little OTT, but time does fly lol. Well over a year ago though. That was it's second guise after he smacked the front end on an R5 GTT track day. Note the Space Invaders on the CF bonnet. :d

1st - metalic dark grey with orange bits
2nd - Solid dark grey with orange bits
3rd - Focus rs green with black bits
Sombody threw paint stripper on in then:
**** this im selling it..
Back to nahhh...
4th - Focus RS green again with black bits
5th - Pearl black with orange bits
It's wednesday and im starting it on saturday and i have stillllll not ordered my bloody paint.
6th black with focus rs green bits
i think they are the best matched but i would do it this way unless you want it really leary
go black/dark grey with some lairy colour to accent the mirrors/spoiler/wheels etc.
Yeah thats what im doing mr stu, finally decided now.
Its going pearl black colour is called Carbon dash, its black but in the sun will look nice with grey silver pearl.
In contrast to this im going with orange wheels.
