Hi,

Are core plugs on most vaux engines the same size? Basically i am going to be picking up a free corsa p reg 1.2 with a suspected core plug that has fallen out. Spewing the water all out the front of the engine. Because i dont have the engine number and dont have the engine type are they all the same size?

Also

The handbreak has siezed on like typical vaxhall is it easy to unseaze hasn't been sitting for too long. a few months tops?

thanks
nath

handbrake is easy, get someone to rock the car while you hit the drum with a big stick (obviously handbrake off and careful your not on a slope)

cant help with core plugs but surely you can just give them the engine code

edit - didnt see youhad the engine type but id assume all 1200 are the same as its the same block iirc

Core Plugs Are Basicly The Same Size On All Engines Some Do Differ But When I Was Working In A Vauxhall Parts Dept We Only Kept 2 Sizes

cool, how do you fit them just whack some sealant round it and bang it in?
