it's not very hard just very anoying, have a go youself with the film first but don't go expecting miricales!
i did mine and totaly shaged the rear window, then i got broken into so now i only got one blacked out window.
legal, you can go dark as fuck on the back passenger window's and rear but i wouln't recomend it if you plan on reverseing at night, front windows only a light smoke is allowed
it don't peel but mind you don't scratch the film or your game is up.
pro's charge loads but a few go's your self with the precut film and you should get good results, oh and make sure you don't use tomuch water 'soapey' coz you'll be there for hours getting bubbles out

I tinted mine me self with the Pre-cut tint from demon tweaks an then went to R-Tec to get my zorst fitted an they asked who did the job they thourght it was done by a pro but with the pre cut stuff its only ?50 for full set front an rear an you don't need to take the windows out so goes on pretty easy unless your heavy handed with the credit card  when applyin the tint an it rips, i have had mine on for about 9months now an no peeling and never pulled over but it is light smoke all round except rear cause i changed the tailgate
Here is a pic of the side for ya mate

If you do the write prep work it can be done yourself. You could listen to these people who seem to be made of money and pay 100 quid to get them done!
Take your windows out clean them very well. Use celulose thinners of something to get the last bit of dust off and totally grease free. Smother the window in soapy water and then get the film wapped on.
Get every single bubble out whilst it is wet then cut down to size. This is the most important bit! If you dont get them out whilst it is wet then you have no chance!!
Dont cut it too far back in or the edge will be seen when you put the window back in and the rubber on. Make sure its behind the rubber. Also it will shrink a little when it gets hot so take this into account! Let it dry properly infront of a radiator or something. The hardest part is putting the window back in so take your time.
pre cut stuffs best.
If not using pre cut you should remove windows so edges can be properly sealed
The side windows are easy enough but dont attempt the back one i fucked mine up and looks likt shit. but if you can afford it get the pros to do it.

The question "whats Legal" keeps popping up but knowone seems to have a definite answer.
I think it is only allowed to be 30% tint on the front side windows and the back can be as dark as you want. Not sure if you have to delcare it a van if you do the back windows darker than 30% or what style of tint is 30% tinted? I have heard it is light smoke and thinnk who ever said about delaring it a van was talking sh*t but i dont know any of this for deffinate!

I did mine in the bath. After cleaning the window well... put it in the bath and fill up the bath a couple of inches above the window. Peel the backing off and let the water out slowly to get it in the right posistion, worked a treat on mine!

Is yours only Light timt then Opel Nova? They look pretty dark in that pic? light tint is 30% init?
I paid a professional to do it.. Pentagon Windows in Watford, worked out about ?215 inc Vat but it is a pucka job.
I got light smoke on the sides and midnight on the rear screen.
I have yet to see a diy job that doesnt have bubbles or creases in it (or look good for that matter!)... lol
