just put the engine into the nova now and after abit of help with the wiring. there are three plugs i'm unsure of................

what is this plug for? is it needed

one of these is the coolant temp, which one is it :S and whats the other one?

i assume that the irmscher ecu just controls the fuel not the ignition?

also the car its going into is a 1300 sr.

if the ecu doens't do the ignition which i'm sure it doesn't the only thing i can think the ecu needs which it hasn't at the moment is some sort of rpm sensor?

If you can give me till tomorrow night, I found my fitting instructons today for irmscher injection kits


Edit, The injection kit does wire into the coil/distributor to sence when to fuel

Which would plug into a hall sender in a distributor, like a nova GTE does.

Is that white plug not the main live/earth/switched live etc etc to power the whole thing up?

which plug would plug into dizzy/coil? and where? as i have the dizzy and coil of the original car and is nowhere for the loom to plug into?

i think the white one is the live/earth/switched just wanted double check :) i would wire that into the ignition?

Best to let Novacabrio get the proper instructions. I know the Nova GTE loom pretty well & just figure this cant be that much dissimilar.

yeah :) i've sent him pm so hopefully get that info tomorrow or thursday. the gte dizzy has a 2 pin plug on it iirc? the dizzy this thing uses is the same as sr's the big black one with 2 wires coming out into coil only. well thats what i got with it :S

think i've almost got this sorted now :) only bit im stuck on is how it connects to the dizzy/coil? anyone got any ideas?

Still stuck on first pictures :s if it is switched live which pin is which? One pin has black/red + 2white cables going into it and one pin has black wire and one has White? Is there short cut just to check rest of the loom is wired up right?
