I'm joking before anyone starts! I too love the rot box lol

Heres my latest purchase

1990
1372 Uno Turbo ie
Completely standard

Needs a new Turbo, on the hunt at the moment, anyone got a T25 kicking around?

I love these olds girls, I've had 3 Mk2 Uno Turbos and this is my forth, cant keep away!

Sorry for the crappy picture:

http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk253/skyinsuranceollie/blue20uno20turbo200022.jpg

On the list to do:

New discs and pads
T25 Turbo
A little more boooost
Shocks and springs

Cant wait to get stuck in and then drive the little beast!

Hope you like , not many people out there appreciate the Uno Turbo anymore

Well I can gladly say that this one has a damn good shell.. spent 2.5 hours viewing it.. all the seats and carpets out.. rear turrets mint, floor pan mint, needs a slight patch on passenger sill but no MOT fail. Just need to sort the blower!!

I had a Uno once, albeit the earlier shape that was smaller than that.

Hence why I could never love an Uno. No matter how fast it is. lol

Could you ever love a Mk1 Golf Jack?

Rumour has it that Fiat rejected the 'original' design for the Uno and the design was sold to VW who built it under the name 'Golf' ;)

Pen is put to paper a fair few years before cars go into production.. as I say it is a rumour but it is entirely possible.

Also doesn't mean that the original design for the uno wasn't drawn so long ago they used ink from a pot with a quill, and then forgotten about until what we know as the uno was made.

And can you not just sneak your cars onto the database on your lunch break Ollie? lol

I got this one cheap but it does need an MOT, you're looking at between £1000 and £2500 for a runner usually. Mk1s seem to be fetching a little more. There are hardly any left unfortunately someone did the numbers a few years back and I think there was under 500

i used to really like the mk1 with the digi dash, i remember a bluey/green wide arch Uno turbo featured in fast car most probabaly 1998/99

not as cool as the GM dash mind

still prefer R5 GTT

Kitted Unos dont really do it for me.. low and loud is where its at!

R5 - Carb vs injection, injection everytime for me!

back the page 1 I almost bought a Fiat Uno over a Nova when I went hunting for my 1st car - the Uno I looked at quite clearly had been in a collission (mega orange peel on the sides!).
