im getting my alloys in a couple of weeks?

i asked on another post if they would fit with out rubbing and mostly the answer was yes they would fit!

there 15 inch mirage (team dynamics) offset 45 but ive got options of tyers which size would be better if i dont want to mod arches?

1) 195-50-15
or
2)195-45-15

my car is lowered 60mm by the way?

thanks for any help

shane.

195-45-15 will go on lovely, had them on my 1st nova although u may need to do a bit of arch work at the back. If you can get a 49 offset thats the proper vauxhall offset.

Dont get 195/50/15! Pay the little extra for the 195/45/15.

Even with 195/45s tho you MIGHT need minor arch mod's. Nothing major tho & v.easy to do.

195/45/15. These will look Phater and will handle better. I have 195/50/15 and they fit ok with a little arch work on the back.

probably need to get the rear arches rolled with a 60mm drop, fronts will be fine.
i had 15" EVO Rs with a 60mm drop and i needed my rears done.

I thought having a lower profile tyre would make it handle better? :?

nope not allways

i found 185 60 14 to be as good as anything else

its all about keeping a contact patch on the road and a tire that moves about a bit will help keep a bigger contact patch

low profile is ok on a track as its flat and smooth but with a bit of bumping the lower profile will tend to skip around more

I get ya. Well i have 195/50's anyhow and just changed them from standard 185/60's (steel) astra wheels and couldn't tell much of a difference.

If you can get a 49 offset thats the proper vauxhall offset.

if you start going wide you may need to come down a few mill for clearance on the arch inner
