Just a quick question right now i know the splines on Gte/Gsi driveshafts at the inner cv's are different (the 22 splines) But what about the other end?? will standard 1.2 cv joints go on or is there a different number of splines again meaning i'll need the GTE/GSI outer cv's
Thanks Mcgowan:thumb:
im sure they are different

All nova outer CV joints are the same. 28 splines on the end of the driveshaft I think.
As Welsh Dan said, 28 outer on all.

AFAIK, like what's been said, all outer CV's will fit the shafts. So would this mean that GTE outer CV's would fit in place of the 1.2 outer CV's?
I'm looking to buy outer CV's and the 1.6 CV's seem to be cheaper then the 1.2/1.3/1.4 CV's

yes all are the same
The 1.2's must be built for more power as they're all "well nippy for a nova" ebay told me so lol

If they're all the same why on earth buy the 1.2 ones over the GTE ones? Meh... GTE one's it is.
