fitting 40s

i have been given a set of 40s so was thinking about fitting them to my sr. is it worth it with std cam and exhaust and do they run off the cam driven pump or will i need an electric pump:thumb:

Mine ran fine on the cam pump and also with the standard cam and exhaust manifold, they made one hell of a difference to the car and well we all know about the noise :P ive got the jets for a 1300 here if you need them.

oh aye jets the guy said they came off an alfa 1600 so i would need them and i will rebuild them. wish i hadn't sold my piper 300 cam now:(

Well let me know if you want mine bud, ive got the jets and chokes. the throttle linkage was a bit fiddly to set up as i used a twin cable one and used a cable block on the end of the pedal.
