I wouldnt if i were you as it will leave it all on show so it wont be there very long before someone spots it and decides to releive you of it all!

imo you could get rid of them ****y 6by9's dont work well with a sub, spend some of that money if you havn't already on a decent pair of front speakers.

Then you could take your sparewheel out and put your subwoofer in the whole create some sort of box for it and relocate (sp) your sparewheel somewhere else.

At night time just pull a sheet or blanket across it :)

Spudly
14-03-10, 11:41 AM
Just out of interest why do you want less weight, a 1200 will do 30mph with or without seats and audio you know!

Curtoise
14-03-10, 11:42 AM
lol yeh, but i took out the audio for a while when i needed to boot, and everything was more fun and better lol.

Curtoise

fisher price?!? lol not so much. but, i want audio that's the thing lol so if i was to take the seats out, then it should be the same as it was with no audio lol

what is this obsession with hugely noisy ICE...

you can only really use it when stationary, and then only to impress other people who love really noisy ICE.

if you drive down the road with it on you will annoy everybody in a 1/2 mile radius, you will go deaf, and you won't get a girl in there with you because she wants to make all the noise

my £11 (jvc retro NOS off ebay) radio/cassette with 4 gm 4" speakers can go loud enought o deafen eveyone in the car, so i don't need any more.

Strip it out and buy some expensive headphones, good sound quality and not going to get stolen

Fail. Sound deaden the car and it won't leak out that much.

I agree about the crappy boom boom boom all I want is bass SPL systems. However a nice (and loud) SQ system is for winners. Not that I CBA with audio that much these days.

to sound deaden a nova to make it use friendly, you would need to completely fill it with wadding..........

the non bonded windows, the doors that you can get your fingers thru the gaps, the fact that it was designed by people & not clever computer sound simulation software means that it really is a small echoey tin can

Till youre giving it loads on a backroad and come to a corner and it doesnt have enough weight to stay on the road and visits the scenery:roll:

Curtoise
16-03-10, 11:42 PM

mowgli
16-03-10, 11:43 PM
