I was getting more at the No Keys or papers for the thing.
I doubt its a dodgy car, but then whoever buys it should beware.
Keys etc will be a pain, car isnt worth loads eather.
It wouldn't have keys,
as you have a card for the igntion :p

Those keys are pricey,,, and work this one out, the hole in the card for a keyring,,, is on the end that needs to go into the slot to start the car! typical french logic lol

driven a few personally, one worked ok, but it was 2 years old at the time. That stupid voice thingy was annoying, every time you switch it on "hello" blah blah, wheres the mute?! lol
They're supposedly got a 5 year shelf life, IE after 5 years if it breaks and its not a nut its going to cost a fortune to fix. Lol
Springs go on these too!!

Did rear beam bushes on one the other day that wasnt a nice job to do. I could rant on for hours but better stop lol
5 years lol lol lol
my mum has had hears for like 7 years,
First was everything electrical. (within months 1st problem)
Then everything mechanical (which was not cheap)
Had head gasket done last month.
Had 3 wheels replaced because they go 'square' lol
Blowers have a mind of there own!!
It is literally on its last legs!!!!

see my point then lol
however if you Jump start it make sure the sidelights are on, apparently that stops one of the MANY ECU's from blowing up...... I found that one out the hard way after burning out a Diesel ECU on a megane, £1200.00 and then the diesel pump was dead too lol

lol i can't see it being a bargain, unless you had a mate with access to a programmer!
also, they wouldn't have physically stopped him taking the car?

Even if you go to a mainstelaer it wouldnt be too much more when you think what youre going to be paying in the end for the car, new keys are about £80 each, and coding is £50, so £25 for your logbook, so thats about £235 on top of a car thats only going to be sold for about a few hundred, not that bad even needing the other bits doing tbh!

But don't you have to have a key to take the code from? and if you don't you need to reprogram the ecu? I just remember the story about clios having to have the ecu immobiliser reprogrammed because it lost its own code
Nah they recode the original if you have it if not they just wipe the old codes and recode the new ones to the ecu, clios can and do lose their codes if you let the battery in the remote go dead or if you press the button loads of times as its a rolling code so if you press it too many times the keyfob rolls on and the car doesnt if its out of range lol

apparently someone is happy to.
but nobody seems to have noticed that the seller has NO proof of legal ownership, NO keys, and no idea where the legal owner (should it not be HP) is? he has a letter from finance company (which even I could do!!) saying they hand it over to him to pay for storage. HOW MUCH WAS HE CHARGING FOR STORAGE?!
But he also says that the owner drove it there, then said he couldn't afford to get the work done then just left it there?? Apart from a dead person who would kinda not return for it! sorry but if someone drives to the garage then regardless of money they'll drive it away!!
Just seemed awfully dodgy to me lol
Also as there are so many ECU's you kinda have to worry about if any of them are knackered after being sat for a year!! they aint cheap!! lol

Thats gotta be dodgy, theyve propably got one of there mates to print some BS letter off saying its there car.
There is the small chance its legit though lol
Most probabley be a stolen Laguna, false plates etc etc
No log book, so you cannot cross reference the chassis number with the VRM
No keys, so you cannot tell if the mileage is genuine, or if it runs
Defonatley got to be dodgy, either way someone either just got a bargin, or got epically PWNED!

i have one of these, 1.8 16v privilege. 02 plate, had 7 months m.o.t. but no tax, 17's, 62k, fsh, 6 disc multichanger, air con, half leather, climate control etc. etc. needed 1 tyre and a clean out, in otherwise good cond. £750!! not a bad car to drive i.m.o., boring as feck but gets me to work and back with no fuss. all i need, hate th stupid keycard thing though

deffintaly looks dodgy to me i would never buy anything without keys or the logbook stay well clear even if it is cheap
You can guarentee its NOT dodgy! if it was the guy is leaving himself wide open, the story sounds legitimate, most storage companies charge £15 a day so if its been there a year the HP company that own it woulldnt be prepared to clear it to gain a car like that back.
^^^^Exactly, id say it sounds pretty genuine in all fairness, its easier for a finance company to settle the debt with the car as payment than chase it up or have it outstanding on their books!
