what ever size you go for, just get plain cheap discs and something like Mintex 1155 pads (not 1144's as they are too soft imho)

288mm Vectra gear will go under 15's (just).
Decent pads & fluid on some 256mm (16v astra/cav) will be a great improvement though.

The std stuff is 236mm with poor calipers.

Even on a road car????

288s are a very close fit under SOME 15s, they dont fit under others. 15" astra alloys dont fit with 288s

I got Tigra 15's, Cav GSi mono blocks & Irmscher 15's over my 288's. Very close but they pass.

Yup. Depends on the width, Astra 15s are only 5.5J, hence why they dont fit.

The Cav fan blades i had didn't fit over my Cab V6 brakes and they were 6J.

hell yeah. They work from -deg C numbers, they are emmense when hot and I've not got them to fade yet lol.

And thats just road milesing it. The 1144's I had on were great but only lasted 9 months of road miles (15K at the time) and now I'm on 1155's they are barely worn after 12 months (15K as my commute has dropped but more braking lol)

I've had Reyland/AP Racing 4 pots and 305mm discs behind 15" Compomotive MO's, and now their sitting behind 15" Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2's :thumb:
