I would have said yeah to Starter motor and alternator but i have no idea about drive shafts sorry.
The alternator for the 1.2 and 1.3 are the same rating but i dont know for the 1.4. I am sure that it would still charge the battery and a 1.4 wont draw that much more than a 1.3.
Same applies for the starter motor. A 1.4 cant be that much harder to turn over than a 1.2 can it???
would look in me haynes manual but me mate 'borrowed' it about 3 months ago to do his head torques an haven't seen it since!
Yep the driveshafts and alternator are ok, not 100% sure bout the starter motor, should be ok, just see if the numbers are the same! (if they have numbers!!!!!)
I swapped my 1.2 for a 1.4 and the drive shafts were left as the 1.2's. Alternator was left in and the starter motor came with the 1.4 so that was changed.
The only otgher bit yuou will need is an extra bit for the coil - summut to do with ignition timing??? I had an extra wire running from my coil to my dizzy unit

i looked in haynes and it says the 1.2's and 1.3's have same motor but vary makes according to age. It doesn't say the 1.6 or 1.4 has a different to the 1.2/1.3 either though. Do they?
