On the left under where you searched it should say more then when you click that it will say zoom in and if you wait a second sreet view should pop up.
It sometimes takes a second to show up.

EDIT - Also back alleys and farms etc... don't allways have a view.

Yep :) Just click on jimbos link and it will take you to his link on the iPhone maps app, then press the picture of the red man on the street name.
Maybe a 3gs thing but not sure.

I have noticed something...................... There are an awfull lot of google street scene threads popping up, several years after it was launched lol

I mean there are LOADS of them popping up!! its like people have only just discovered it!!

Because it has JUST been updated. Covers more than just main citys now. I dont think there is many roads around this way they havnt done.

it's more up to date then maps itself, my uncles house isn't on maps just a builing site, but street view is very recent, there isn't even my cavalier on his drive

Not everywhere has been on street scene untill now and as said, everywhere that was previously has also been updated!

they've got 96% of the country on street view now, i have 3 cars and can only find 2 of them on it won't stop searching untill i find the third, im slightly addicted, sad i know!
