how hard is it ti fit an astra gte 8v engine in my nova 1.2 ive got the full astra but what other parts do i need and how hard is it to do the wiring i need help asap i just blew the bottom end on the 1.2 and need the car cheers for any info

well i got a astra 1.6 8v put in mine from a 1.2i, left my car there for a day, it was done, ive heard it aint that hard.

if your fitting a 2ltr 8v carb then im no idea - dont know they even exist?

as for the injection version, we found it dead easy, hardest part is wiring (took 15 mins) and also sourcing driveshafts.

take about a weekend all in all.

i presume you are on about a 1.8 8vgte?
Not straight forward as you might think but not too bad. the bottom end is same size as a 2L 16v. so you have the mount fun that comes with a valver.
drives are same as a valver too.
