over fueling problem

hi i have a nova 1.4 sr my mate told me it over fueling like mad and sumtimes it runs **** everytime i take the pugs out there soaking with petrol i think my mate said it has been changed from multi point to singal point can you set up carb or enything

please post a picture of your engine.

a 1.4sr should be a carb

so if its something else, it needs identifying first

Add the engine number as well as pics. A multi-point injection engine would indicate it was originally an SRi. The SR was carb'd & became the SRi when the carb'd engines were phased out in favour of cat equipped injection engines for 1992 emmissions regs.

if it a single point take your air box off and turn your ignition on and look down the throttle body if there is fuel cumming out then you need a new injector pal
