Right,

How well do X14XEs run (suppose same question on 16XEs) when completely ripped of all electronics.

I know they're a cracking engine, but I hate ECUs and the likes with a vengence, so exactly how "bare" can you take these engines, would be looking to run it on bike carbs or 40s.

(This is just for future plans maybe....)

well the twin cam small blocks acant be run on dizzy's etc so you would need management (i.e. ECU's lol)

if its carbs tho megajolt is your friend here

Yer I had thought I'd have to run Megajolt for bike carbs.

Simple and easy enough to run bike carbs/40's (45's for lairy high power) and then get a trigger wheel sorted, TPS and megajolt/wasted spark ignition system with small ecu, can be done for a coupple of hundred if you do it yourself!
