Carlton GSi 5 Speed Box (RWD)

Are these boxes worth much? I've heard they can do over £100. Need to give someone a price on one.

not sure on price, but sort after, for the XE rwd conversions. as they are a bolt on fit,

people say they are common, but i have never found one lol

A Carlton GSi box will not fit onto an XE, it might possibly fit a CIH engine though.


Omega gearboxes can be used for XE conversions though, but levers have to be changed over, and electronic speedos used as they have no mechanical drive on them...........

not really worth a spectacular amount - maybe £50 if you can verify that it's ok.

when you advertise, be sure to state if it's cable or hydraulic clutch.
