How about preparing a presentation on one of the potential cars you will be flogging? Try and sell it to them!

i would guess that is potentially more the thing they are looking for

sell them a pencil making up random uses for it, thats how you get a job on ths shopping channel......lol

and if you can sell someone something as inane as a pencil I'm sure you could sell anything

Good luck btw

It doesn't matter so much what it is you sell but your approach. If you 'umm and errr' all the way through that's when you have problems. You need to make sure you state features and then give the benefits of it. That's what sells the product. If you are confident whilst talking then you'll be fine.

good luck :thumb:

Exactly, its your rapport and style they should be looking at. Doing something relatively on topic would be good though as it shows you have an interest/knowledge on the product.

I did think about a presentation on the cars you'd be selling but thats a bit obvious.

Showing interest or knowledge in the field you'll be working is always good.

Maybe throw in a bit of technical knowledge only if it's 100% correct though lol

I had to sell a stapler once, which was totally unrelated to the actual job. Then for another job it was something related like an mp3 player. :thumb:

Interact with the audience too, get them involved, make them laugh if you can. That always helps :thumb:

Yep, always shows you're comfortable with interacting with others around you and people you've only just met i.e customers.
