digi dash transducers

just been and stripped a digi dash out of another nova ive unscrewed the transducer and left part of it in the box because it was stuck in there. do i need this bit ?

Aye you need the transducer that screws into the gearbox and if your cars a carb model you'll need the plug with the 3 wires going into it

i got the wiring off, undone the 10mm bolt and it was stuck in the box as i was pulling it it started to unscrew so i unsrewed it and took this part do i still need the other half ?
