remember, if you start understeering, give it 1/2 turn on the steering wheel, cog it down & floor it, this has served me well for 24 years in novas

You take the time to drop it a cog while understeering? I'd be ****ting bricks while I was going towards a hedge/curb/tree etc with no power through the front wheels! lol

Wikid, do it, could do with replacing the drivers door, your insurance payout/writing off the car would be epic :d Do it please :d

Thats why you have so much power that it instantly picks up in every gear. If it dont then your going to have a much better sounding crash.

Nice one mate, everyone remembers the first time they drove their first Nova. Just remember the brakes go through a middle man first before they work so don't be braking late will you lol
my first nova drive was 20mins after passing my test..... in 1986.. and within 5 mins i was belting down a big hill to get it to read a ton........ its been a slippery slope ever since....

the 1st day i drove my nova was on l plates on the local sanisburys :d
i got the train to Derby and hadn't been in a nova in years, compared to my standard corsa the lowered nova felt like a coffin on a go kart chassis and i loved it!
Drove home steady then gradually got used to chucking it around rather then a corsa that chucks you around

My first Nova drive was at the ripe old age of 30 when I picked up the Derv from Carlisle and drove it home to Scotland (been a passenger in many though). I think I am trying to relive the youth I never had as everyone my age had Novas and I was stuck in my little bog standard Fiesta then my Orion. Dunno why I missed the boat but caught it at last :thumb:
