hi there guys im new to all this stuff, just built a c20xe nova and the clutch cable keeps snapping near the bulkhead. Ive cut the tube down where the cable goes into the bulkhead but thers still quite an angle on the cable where it comes outof the bulkhead.
any ideas on how i can stop the cable snapping ?????

your ment to bend the tube at the bulkhead iirc thanks to Lee's guide he said - The inlet manifold also gets in the way of the clutch cable exit from the bulkhead. Insert an iron bar into the clutch hole in the bulkhead and make the hole point towards the front passenger side of the engine bay, towards the floor. This will let the clutch cable be free.
Otherwise the clutch cable is pushed about by the inlet manifold, and it ends up snapping the clutch cable.

If your engine mounts are sh*tty old things then that won't help either as the engine will be rocking back onto the cable, get some new ones, or better still, fill them with Stikaflex !
