my front grill dont fit properly.i want it to lay flat against the bumper but it kicks up slightly at either end any ideas??its a k reg gsi....

Try changing the plastic grommets on either end!
i did this but no such luck! i got a motor factors 1 so it may be that! i had the original grille nicked!

when you say kicks up, do you mean the bits that go under the lights are higher than the centre of the grill?

It could be that the bumper is too tight to the body, forcing the grill back further than it should be and as a result the ends under the lights lift up under pressure.

Mine did this when i refitted mu bumper - I had to add a couple of washers on the ends of the brackets on the carriage to push it forward a bit and the grill settled back
