So that is the standard N/S engine mount in it's factory position right?
You running an F20 Benn?

TBH it looks as if that mount has been shifted forward but I can't tell for sure from that angle (hence why I asked Benn the above question).

And above, yeah i believe it is. Looks like mine... Bar less smooth.

it looks too far forward to be standard that mate, and the gap between the box and chassis is far to big.

Ok- I really thought you were running an F28. I'm gonna start off with an F20 (due to budget) but if I can sus out this homemade mount then it may help.
Maybe the fact it looks all welded an un-smooth makes me think it's been moved forward.

We're gonna need comparison pics and a pic from a slightly wider angle. Either that or ask Joff.

Oh yeah, wouldn't have noticed that till you put your pic up to compare too..
Guess he cut it off and moved it.. Wonder why he didn't just fit a f28 mount..

not sure to be fair, or he could have done what i did, cut off the nova mount and weld 2 nuts under the chassis and use the full calibra mount and rubber!

cos he had the f28 in years ago when he had the xe in it before f28 mounts were readily available was when it was red
courtenay still used f20s on there let conversions when joff fitted the f28
