Most Novas are laid up or being resto'd anyway. So tbh I cant see many being added here.

Lets not forget the millions of ebay Nova enthusiasts that probably have no clue the PNG exists (or any other online Vauxhall car club for that matter)

Yes but I'm wanting some proof of this so called sheep like activity as I don't think there that common.

I personally don't like them and can never see me owning a set. However i would say 90% of vauxhall owners do like them. Around here i see 4 sets on cars every couple of days, and that's not counting the people i know for a fact have plenty of sets in garages. They are a popular wheel choice, but that shouldnt mean you want them for yourself or not.

For me, I am pretty much sick of the sight of them as a wheel, but on the cars, be it Cavs, Corsas, Astras & Novas, they still look ace & set the era for the car.
Its easy to find wheels that are nice, but then put them on a car that doesnt suit them, is just a massive fail of epic proportions.

I own nine of them, five in factory silver for my saloon (hardly road going), four in primer ready to be painted and maybe fitted to my red shed for shows and when I'm not teaching my better half to drive

Alessios do look nice but are very boring IMO

They kind of make un interested in the car there on.

And of course they make your Nova handle like poo cause there too big.

I've got 8, 4 in silver and 4 in White my gsi had them on everyday except when I couldn't afford tyres so for one month I ran 15" alpines, I didn't notice any difference in handling,, iirc there ain't much difference in overall height of 40/16" to 65/14"

I don't think they're as common as they used to be. Certainly seem to be more Cesaros around nowadays.

Not a bad looking wheel, but I've never seen them on anything other than Corsas or Novas. Would look odd on something else lol

I dunno about common but I just got the last EV0R 'honest there's no more' set from Wheelbase! lol

They were more common then they are now imo. I do like them but I wouldn't fit them to my Nova for some unknown reason.

If I could have any wheel fitted I'd choose this Irmsher wheels. Like the softstar but a bit updated and sportier. It's called the 'Evo Star'

It just looks sex!

I used to think they 'made' any Nova, as in finished it off, but now my opinion is they only suit mk2s and have to be low, I know there is zero imagination in fitting a set but it simply works and all of my favorite Novas, both past and present have them

Nova_Tek
09-03-10, 01:08 PM
'Tis true they seem to look more complete on a MK2.

100+ Qualifiers were the other 16" wheel from back in the day that fitted a Nova. After the Alessio's & Softstars.

Only Dan16v has a set that I know if.
