cam shaft removal / replacment

anyone ever tried replacing the cam shaft?

i cheated and bought a camshaft that was in a cam shaft assembly last time :oops:

this time round id like to do it all without one step forward, twenty back, taking the engine to bits!

is it in the haynes?

any advice?

I have just done one. Yeah it is in the haynes. Just read through that. Easier than me trying to expalin!! Not a hard job really.

quite easy, just un bolt the pulley then theres a small plate thing at the dizzy end wi 2 allen studs in it, take these out, remove the plate and slide the cam out. (easiest to unbolt the pully first wi t timin belt still on etc before removin the cam housing)
