i was driving to work the other day and two cars had little teddys hanging from there tow hook, im WTF,

'Drift charms' All the loser Dubbers and Scene kids (same thing? lol) have them now. Same as the Tokyo subway rings, and don't get me started about JDM plates etc on Euro cars. 'JDM as Fcuk' stickers and then in the same breath they slate 'Jap crap'. L O L

Well here is another classic car that has had the rat-look treatment done to it and apeard on the rat-look forum yesterday

http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq280/simon300zx/DSCI1420.jpg

My mate was actually on about rebuilding his Lancia last night and leaving the outside rat for a couple of years until he can finally afford to get it painted due to all the projects he has going on at the momment eating away at his wallet lol one of them been a very old left hooker Merc which he has given the rat look as it's his future drift car and he is also in the process of turning his 2ltr Combo van into a track weapon for next year rather than his work van ( yes he uses his 2ltr combo van ever day to go to work on customers houses lol )

L14MNP am going to upset you and admit I actually like the J-Euro style going on with the V-Dub owners at the min and wouldn't mind seeing someone do it to a Nova - Maybe a Nova Saloon would pull it off a lot more but either way would look very fresh from the norm and would be even more impressive if it was RWD drift slag imo

Again though it's a good job we dont all like the same thing otherwise we would all be boring and have nothing to bitch about

jags is pretty nice actually

still dont get 'rat' look (scene names FTL) but meh

and as for the lancia, ill be doing the same with my nova lol

Tru dat. I just laugh at how a lot of the Dubbers in their cheapo Polos with eBay suspension and BBS wheels usually slate JDM stuff, but now they want a piece.

I don't mind it the other way aorund though (or didn't used to)

I have a 6/7 year old Photobucket from my previous car which is named eurojdmp11, make of that what you will. lol

my mates decided that his euro c2 isnt ghey enough for him so he has bought a pink "j-euro" civic with " i hate jdm" on the window. :wtf:

I wish I had as many mates as you Rob. :( lol

That guy sounds like a cripple.

I think what it is with the V-dub lot is that they have all done the euro look to death now that all there cars pretty much look the same now so all the new school VW owners ( come on guys you gotta admit a lot of us over the age of 21yr are old skool now ) wanted to find something fresh to do to there cars even if it ment breaking the rule book

bit like me with my Novas lol

At least OTT bodykits are pretty much a thing of the past now days though there is still a few people/companys who still build there show cars with OTT bodykits because they only trailor the car to shows to try and win prizes :wtf: but can't remember when I last seen on in a car mag - Oh wait yeah I can that free mag that is going round at the min called Total Modified seems to like featuring OTT bodykit cars hence why the mags free because no one wants to buy mags with cars like that in them anymore lol

can't you tell am off work on the sick because ive got all this time on my hands to have long chats/debates like this on forums :d

I miss ****ered up cars TBH! They're great to laugh at, or let the 'Jap' kitted 12dr 1.1 Saxo think he has 'done' you then anihilate the fool at the next set of lights.

When I do see a FG kitted monstrosity these days it really does stand out! lol
I think it may be coming back though, I've seen a few local cars with kits in gel coat or covered in bodge as they're being smoothed into the panels etc.

Come backkk we miss you! lol

Don't really like that FD tbh. Is it a proper Dragon built car? As its not listed on their site, unless they repainted it matt black recently!

Mind you, this has stickers and looks cool. No rust though

Rusty old FD. Top way to ruin a £4k++ car.

Shame the privvy reg & Rays rims are now worth more then the entire car :S

Here we go again

If you dislike the car, fine, not everybody's taste is the same. But the projects section is not for ranting and raving about what people do with their own property.

Lets not kill this thread AGAIN lol

Yes Jack this is a car built and owned by the actual owner of Dragon - He bought it as a car to use for spares but then decided he wanted to try his hand at drifting after hitting 9seconds in his quater mile car ( the Matt black one ) - So off he went onto the drift track and like any drift learner he smashed it into the amco giving the car a lovely big dent on the drivers side - So off he went to run to the sun ( the famous VW show at Newquay ) where he got the bug for rat look cars and when he came back thought f*ck it he was going to turn his drift slag into a drift rat slag - So 5 hours with a grinder and leaving the weather to take it's tole on the bodywork he ended up with this

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n3/DRAGONPER/DSC_0053b.jpg

Then over the months he has just been learning how to drift the car while also using it as his every day car ( though he has since been given a curfue on the car where he can't take it out on the road between the hours of 8.30pm and 8.30am as he was court going sideways round a rounderbout by an un-marked police car ) and adding stickers to the bumpers as well as making the inside very extreme

http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/Charles%20Kha%202010/Guest/fastcar1010/5.jpg

The car is in this months Fast Car mag and he plans on sorting the inside out with a full rollcage ect so it aint so extreme ready for next years shows - He also plans on entering it in not just drift comps but also show and shine comps lol Oh yeah this is also Dragons new demo car ( You could eat your dinner off the engine ) and the car is also fully MOT passalbe and he has spared no expence on the car just like any true rat car

build thread can be found here :

http://www.rat-look.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4452&hilit=5+HOURS+WITH+A+GRINDER

Oh yeah Jack dont worry this topic aint getting killed again as the car is already dead lol Leave Baxter and his fellow noobs who dont like things they dont understand to there heartless comments as what goes around comes around :thumb: plus it's giving everyone something to read and laugh at as well as see how childish they can really be

How ? when a true rat has all money thrown at the parts that count like suspension engine ect not the look of the bodywork because if he had spared no expence on the bodywork getting it painted in a mint paint job then then it wouldn't be rat now would it

Exactly my point, true rat is bodywork left to feck, and all the money spent on the engine and running gear so it looks like a rolling mot fail but is probably better than most new cars underneath, yet going out with a grinder and 'making' a car look 'rat' is not in the esscence of what 'true rat' is, i dont see the fascination with proper/true rat cars anyways so your words will be lost on me, but a forced rat car is ten times worse imo!

Sheep.I bet if they all hung plastic cocks off their tow eyes then all would follow. Its that sad.
