MOT question

im thinking about makeing a boot build with a mdf or simular base which will be bolted to the base of the boot.. when it goes in for MOT will it fail on something stupid like not having easy access to the boot well?

I dont think you even need a boot well. Some new cars dont even have a spare wheel (Golf R32 for instance).

just take the spare out before the MOT. plus then they also can't do you for not having legal tread on the spare!! :D

If a spare is fitted in the car it needs to be legal- if no spare fitted it still passes.
