Petrol cap !!! Please help!!!

Bad times, I drove on the motor way today
my petrol cap came off, it bounced up and
and hit my dads windscreen behind,!!!! I filled up
last nite and I had trouble with it locking properly
I was gutted!!!!!!! Basicly I just wanted to know what
to do as i will need a new lock and key meaning I can't
just go to the scrappy and get another one! Would I go to vauxhall
and get them to get me a new one with lock and key(if they still do them)
or would I have to get a cap from scrappy and get a locksmith to give
me a lock and key and I would have go fit it in ! Help please! Thanks in
advance!!!!!!

And if desperate go to petrol station and buy a temporary one - those green plastic things

for the moment go to garage and buy a universal. but before you do that put a wanted advert up in here, you will get one with a key
