worn rockers??

the rockers on the GTE lump im rebuilding have a small dip in the middle of each of them its the same on all and it goes across the middle, is this a wear point or how they are supposed to be???

I think they are suposed to be there to a certain extent. I am re-building a 1.2 and mine are the same. I think it is because of the movement on the lifters wear that shape into them.

yes it is wear

you should see SOME to a certian extent, but depending how bad it is its not a good thing.

you may want to get yourself a new set.

nothing uprated or super special, just standadrd jobbys.

the cam and the lifters are the most delicate part of the engine ive always been told, and if in doubt you need NEW followers.

it is no good reusing followers on a different cam shaft
