.....i'm a Nova owner again ;)
Bought a 48k 1.3 SR in Metallic Grey (those eagle eyers of you, it was on eBay recently)
Possibly the cleanest standard Nova (bar the replacement arches) i've ever seen, and better than my Nordic Blue Merit I bought back in 2008!

Sure does look clean. There's an old chap near where I live that drives an exact same SR and just as clean.

Wheels and suspension yet to be decided - then it'll be kept clean, and left.

Ironically though, the SR achieved 43MPG on the way home today, my 59 Fiat 500 Diesel did 49MPG - who says we've learned anything about economy!

Good mpg mate, sounds like she's running well. My 1.2 used to get 46 - 48MPG on long journeys and about 42MPG in town until it blew the headgasket. Funny that... you'd think running on 3 cylinders would use less fuel lol lol

Many thanks for the comments, i'll get much better photos at the weekend! They're awful - so pleased really though, a lot of cars look good in photos, this one looks better in the flesh than those show.
My photos should have it looking nice! Wanted to have it out this evening to clean but got home too late :(

I'm keeping EVERYTHING I take off, so it will be able to go back to standard very simply.
I won't be fitting big brakes so i'll always have the option of the Steelies/3 Spokes too.

when i fetched your green one of you it was a 630mile round trip and me and the missus spent the day on the sea front and left later on to miss the trafic
nice to see you got another mate looks as good as the green one which my the way apart from the leather interiour and wheel change is still as mint as the day i picked it up
its been hidden away and parked in the back of my workshop and hasnt turned a wheel for nearly 8 months i put it away when i thought it was going to rain one afternoon and its been there sinse lol got to pic a 16xe up for it tomorrow so if i find time around the 4x4 i might get it put in tested and take it to pv
gd luck with it mate and you got my number when you want to sell it in 6 months lol

yea i had over a 600 hundred mile trip when i got my mk1sr it was the only decent one i could find with no sunroof so i got them to send loads off pictures off all the problem areas and bought it!! i drove from doncaster to cornwall and back was a long day but well worth it!!!
