stand alone spark control??

hi im fitting a c20xe into my nova and plan to run 45s on it i was wanting to know if anyone can recomend a reasonably priced stand alone ecu to control the spark only as it would make a tidier job and would allow for the adjustment of the spark, or would i be better off stripping back the original loom to the bare minimum and using the standard ecu to control the spark :confused:

1.6 mk2 cavalier dizzy coil amp and wiring or if you cant find one contact h and h for there kit that is the same but £250ish

i used this set up on mine with 48s was fine
