Hairdryer is the only way without damaging the paint tbh

Toffee Wheel is what i used. Made it really easy and quick to do a boring job.

Its a rubber wheel you put in a drill, it melts off the sticker/vinyl leaving the paint mostly untouched under it. Saves alot of time.

i would try a heat gun instead of a hair dryer, will have it off in minutes, clean of the glue left on the pillars with petrol or similar :)

Hair dryer/heatgun. + an old nectar card or similar.

It is a slow process unless you have a toffee wheel which I find hard to imagine will eat into old vinyl. Sticky residue yes. I used Autoglym tar remover to get the old glue off.
