as most no i have a 2door saloon with some artecs on would i be silly to get shot and run 9x14'' steels (most proberbly show use only) as i love the idea but 9j on a nova is extreme:d and i no its not most peoples cup of tea
cheers
stevie

have no pics atm but they are wide and are on 195 45 14's and ****e loads of stretch (maybe a dab too much)
steve, i'd go for 7.5 front and 8j rears.. or 8j all around. that looks great on a saloon.
this is 7.5j on a saloon front

Staggered ET or tyre widths on FWD is so wrong.
^^^ totally agree, won't look good at all.
:roll:yeah, speedlines FTW

I'm glad you say its for show use. I really wouldnt want to be a Nova wheel bearing on 9J rims.
I would imagine the steering feel & tramlining would be utterly hideous too, so I deffo wouldnt do it.
But I'd love to see it & if you can get them on, loooking sweet & not have to butcher the arches, so that your tame, daily wheels still look neat.. ..DO IT!

is it bad on RWD lol

im having second thoughts a 195 45 on a 9j rim with a 5 month old baby maybe a tad optimistic at this time i cant decide : l
These are 9x14 of ww and I think they'll be too wide even for a saloon

guys.. i get the idea you all forget that banding steelies drops the offset down by inches..
brett: you need to butcher youre rear arches to make them fit ;)
if a wheel is 5j et49 and is banded to 9j, the offset is -52.6

I wish you all the luck in the world but I'd personally think twice if I had to put my own 'nipper' in the car

as said as show wheels i could not use them for daily
i voted 'yes'
but 9j is a tad optimistic.

and no i wont have to butcher them dude i have allready planed this and also i have lots more stretch than yousual due to the tyresize i am youseing
and i am also a man of many talents :):thumb:
brett, you have a negative ET now (if there oem vauxwheels)...
tyre size isnt going to fix that, or do you want 155 on a 8j?
7j et25 already catches in the arches (185-50-14 tyre)..
i hope you get away with it, but imo you need flared arches.
When they just stick right out, it just looks like "the first set of alloys i bought from Halfords"... Cause they don't fit at all and just look sh*te. I'm seeing this look more and more..
If they have a tiny bit or poke and good stance then they look good.
That Corsa just looks "i have no idea about fitment or offset"
