Considering doing the unthinkable.... and getting another Nova.
Was thinking 1ltr/1.2 or TD.
Many TD's around nowadays?

Can't answer your question on how many TD's are around as Nova's in any shape or form are thin on the ground up here lol

td's hmm seem to be getting rarer now a days all i can ever seem to find is petrols.
And of course novas are getting rarer as more are rusting and getting scarpped. And the goverment is/was helping that with there trade in scappage scheme
O well makes the rest of ours only go up in valve :)

Went spoilerless as I'm over at the Ace Cafe on the 10th April for an FTO only evening with the club.
Banzai will be there and I wanted to make mine stand out a bit from the torrent of Steel Silver's. Should be swapping to some standard black alloys next week so the enkei's can undergo a quick refurb.
Going for a Ken Block look with a twist. ;-)
As for the Novas going up in price... about friggin time lol.
I was thinking about a Nova as a daily drive and keeping the FTO as a play thing.
I burn nearly £60 (full tank) of fuel a week lol.
Plus I have Nova parts laying around that I can't seem to sell.

Maybe not for much longer... the lambda is up the swanny and I'm returning some **** mpg. It's out of tax at the end of jan so I'm thinking about taking it off the road until the summer. 1ltr or 1.2 Nova are looking likely... that or a diesel polo.

Got the tools and the skills to take the engine out but not the desire. lol
Quite like the silk violet 4 door saloon... shame it doesn't have an MOT.

Unfortunately I had a small accident with the memory card in my phone and managed to delete almost all the pics.

Essentially I masked up the tyre., sprayed the light grey, then cut out loads of "camo" shaped bits of masking tape. Next a layer of dark grey and then removed the pieces of masking tape revealing the light grey. Then cut out more camo bits but used the strip of masking tape leaving a "camo" shaped hole and then sprayed the white.
After that it was as many coats of lacquer as I could get on before the owners club Annual at shakey.
It sounds hard but isn't really... just need loads of patience.
I did have to do some trial and error with the paint. Eventually found out that it was actually best to use mostly undercoat rather than top coat or hammerite.
I'm probably re-doing them after christmas though as I managed to curb two of them (first time I've curbed wheels in 10 years of driving grrrrrrr)

My missus was at home after a foot operation during the urban camo refurb so I utilised her for cutting out the camo shapes and masking up the tyres :-D
I'm not one for fibre glass but this'll be going on soon.

It's going urban camo too but with some rather fancy quick release fixings.
