Nova, F20 Gearbox, Linkage help?

A friend called, he's fitted a C20XE to his GSI Nova, with F20 Gearbox. He cant seem to get the gear linkage set at all.

I was hoping I can help, but my linkage is different (F28).

Can someone give a definative answer to how to setup the Linkage, and photos to help if possible.

need to flip the white plastic bit around that goes onto the turret ontop of the gearbox

Then once youve done that its just same as setting up any nova linkage

I havent been to see it yet, but he says when he flips round the white plastic bit, the linkage is too long and fowls the steering rack?

I assumed all would be fine once he did that, but it doesnt seem to work for him.

gearbox spacers used?

i had this once, the guy fitted a corsa linkage to a nova. if so bend the top bent bar so its straight. its the one with the ball on it and the hole for the gearlever rod.
