sulfuric is a particularly nasty one on the skin iirc, something to do with the way it reacts, all depends on the strength though, water acid down enough and you can drink it... i.e orange juice lol Glacial Hydrochloric is fun on the nostrils though (Glacial is where theres crystals of it formed in the liquid as it's way too saturated, basically it don't come any stronger, it steams away to itself when you leave it in open air lol)

Aye it is indeed, i have dry skin and suffer badly with dermatitis on my hands very badly, as do all valeters and you can tell when the wheel acid has sprayed back and gone on your hands/arms/face:cry:

Always found that a bit of a catch 22 as you need decent feel in your hands to do a proper professional job!

most gloves are latex, you can get others that are better for hypersensitivity
The powdered ones and the dry ones all the same, its the fact my hands cannot breathe that causes them to swell up and become inflamed
employ a pole to do it & you could be management
