i had a v pully laying around the garage and on the 20.l 8v engine it had one of them flat belt pulley. so i took it off and went to put put the v pulley and the bolts dont line up.
can i just drill the v pulley? or can i buy a belt that will go on to the
flat belt pulley to the alternator.

erm you've lost me abit there
your trying to put a v pulley set up on to go in the nova
is it going on a 2.0 or a small block..?

yes mate its going to go on the 2.0 engine

It only goes on in one position - the holes are offset so that the timiming marks line up etc..

Keep turning it and trying in different positions - it should go on...

it will not go on the bolts holes are way to small

if its just the bolt holes are too small then drilling the holes bigger will be fine as the balance won't be lost, just make sure everything else is right, or else you may render is useless if you find you can't use it anyway

got some pics but today i found another one that would fit the v pulley but the tooths are diffrent to the cam and water pump :(
