View Full Version : Which Cars Can i get 288 discs+Calipers from?
Going to U-pullit as i have an unexpected day off,was off to get some 288 discs and calipers for my nova. Was wondering what cars these were fitted to and what fits.I know they were on various Vectra's and Omega's but wondered if they fit on Nova's??

Are the meriva 280mm discs a suitable replacement for the 288mm?
Edit: Sorry, slight hijack.

Im sure I saw a nova for sale that had 288mm v6 calipers and it said it was using Lancia delta HF Turbo discs.
They are the same fitment as Fiat Coupe discs afaik /\

Calibra and Cav Turbo calipers with 284mm disks!
So fiat coupe turbo disks, with cal/cav calipers!
Picked a mint set up for £50 at the vboa day!
Its the normal fiat coupe you need discs off, not the turbo version. They have 308mm Brembos

andy most face lifted veccys 2.0 have 288mm discs and pads, earlier ones are V6 only (5 stud is a give away)
meriva/combo 280mm discs are great but you cant fit the matching callipers ive tried
omega callipers are diff to veccy ones and dont fit
Yep, all 5stud veccys had 288s
Just use meriva discs with cav/cally calipers, should work fine

try to avoid the vectra 288 calipers and find a set of 284 from a cav becasue the piston in the 288 is bigger. using the 284 wont put so much strain on the servo/master cylinder ! thus not causing a sponge pedal feel !
brand new plain 288mm discs (ok 5 stud) from AV are about £20 each....

Yeh but iirc there pretty expensive. I bought a set of 288 calipers for £20 and started looking into it. I couldn't justify spending £20 on calipers and I think it was £90 for discs and I didn't want to drill them. I'm a real tight **** I know.
My discs cost £36 off ebay
mine cost £10 from a breakers.
