Wasn't the question about Vaux wheels fitting a Renault though?

The centre bore is bigger on a Renault Clio. The only way to know will be to try - looking at some 16v Speedline Renault alloys I have here, I think the Vauxhall center bore will be far too tight.

Dont think they will fit. Vaux wheels have a smaller centre bore. Hence Renault wheels will fit, but not vice a versa.

i see, because i just got some alloys super cheap there ok but not to my tast bsa racing 187's i got them for the tyres, and i trial fitted them and the center bore is huge! but so if i were to fit them i would need spiggots

This is VERY freaky. i came online tonight to make the exact same thread lol a friend of mine has a clio (think its a 1997 aswell) and has some alloys for a corsa to go on. they did a quick test and the wheel went on but i just wanted to double check that it will be safe. without being able to check them for myself i could do with knowing a definate answer.

So the pcd is the same and thatl explain why they bolt on. Will they need spiggots though? without these how dangerous will it be?

It's bloody odd lol i logged on and it came up with general chat on the first page and i saw the question straight away. Really blagged me ha!

I just re-read the thread and some people are saying that the bore is bigger on a clio so itl be too tight to fit, but then you said you tried yours and its the other way around? my mate also said that the wheels do go on the car, i just need to make sure they are going on safely really.

Renault wheels will fit a Nova. However, Vauxhall wheels will NOT fit a Renault. IIRC Nova bore is 50mm Renault is 56mm. Or something like that.
