L.E.D wiring

Anyone know anything about wiring led's, basically Ive got a 24v power source and 4 white 3-5v led's i need to wire in, i know i need a resistor of some kind but which one ? and how do i wire it in ? or for that matter how do i wire any of it. A small labeled diagram would be cool if anyone can they will receive rep thanks.
