i love the rust poking and chopping out is that wrong.

Nothing too bad there, just a few plates here and there. This is why you get a screwdriver with the jack and wheel brace.

Usual 'edge of sill to rear arch corners', the front splash guards arent too bad to repair though.
If that s it though, you have no issues if you stop poking!!

yep every mk1 ive had has been really strong,every mk2 ive had has been fukkedwell ive only had mk2s,,,,,,5 they were all rotr boxes....on k, and j......bought my mk1 sr expecting the worst.......nope had one bit of welding in boot.even batery tray iss good,i still went mad with the front iner wings....just to be sure lol:cool:

Seem to get more rusty mk2's because the bods at Vauxhall assumed more seam selaer meant better protection. lol WRONG!!!

Those pics dont look too bad. As said get the welder out. Nothing major.
