Steering Wheel ?

Seen a steering wheel that I like on eBay (Don't want to post a link though incase I get shat upon)

But just wondered if I buy the steering wheel it has a boss for an Escort

Could I get a boss for a Nova and would it need to be the same as that steering wheel or could it be a universal Nova boss ?

Could somebody clear this up for me ?

I think it has to be a certain brand of wheel.

Like a mountney boss for a mountney wheel.
Not sure though.

Although i have saw just a BOSS for a nova before, so maybe they are universal.

I think it totally depends on the steering wheel and if it has the same fitment ie will the bolt holes line up etc

Surely it cant though, or no one would know if the wheel would fit or not. until he buys it and finds out

Trial and error sometimes. Had a wheel and boss of an old track nova of mines. Bought a moutenay wheel but it didnt fit the boss, measured it up to a momo boss and it fitted :thumb:
Steering wheels are mostly universal, its the boss thats model specific but there are differences in the stud pattern of some wheels :roll:

Vaugh, PM me a pic of the wheel you want, ive got a couple steering wheels there, ones got the boss on aswell.

some wheels have difference pcd's to other, but most will fit the same same boss

A few of the aftermarket wheel mfrs use a standardised bolt circle. Take a risk, if not you need to look out for the right boss.

you can get universal bosses that have two diffrent sets of holes much like multi fit alloy wheels.
So yes you can get a multi fit steering boss for a nova
