Would like pictures of QED bodies throttle linkage on xe, as I have bought the linkage and have put it together but canot get full throttle. Also I was told by QED I can use the linkage with dome fillter but Im not convinced as the backing plate gets in the way unless i am missing somthing in my kit.

see my thread, about prog. engine management in electrical..

if you say u cant get full throttle with the bodies not fitted yet - its either the linkage or try removing/undoing the throttle pot. and see if it free's it up..

Mine had a similar problem with the linkage/back plate. There are several linkages available, have a look on the website for them and identify which one you have then call up QED and check it's defo the correct one for your application. My problem was fixed with some small spacers which had went missing at some point but QED sent me the new ones free of charge!!! Also, I just trimmed the standard accelerator cable back to the correct length and fitted the small ball type (whatever the **** they're called!) joint that fixes to the linkage.

If your linkage is the correct one then I'd suggest taking a look at you cable, possibly need to shorten it by bringing the linkage joint thing closer to the cut back of the outer sleeve of the cable.

Hope that helps! (and makes sense!)

No, this was the good engine i got from Chris Tunnicliffe, the reason it was underfuelling was due to the FPR being the only part of the setup i didnt buy from him lol
