Shell started off as a 1.2i that I picked up in York. It was dropped off with John Davis pretty much stripped bare and returned to me like this. All that is left to do is swap over all the good bits from last year eg suspension and engine etc, wire her up and have a trip to the rolling road.

Spec for the anoraks
1297 engine, bored to +40, head done to the limit of the regs, balanced bottom end, baffled sump.
Carb SU.
GAZ coilover suspension on the front, Protech on the back.
more info and pics to follow. Got engine and box to swap this week and finish off the front suspension
