Mk1 Astra Van 1983 Y reg

Hi everyone unfortunately due to a recent move and having one too many projects i'm being forced to put my astra van up for sale.

I purchased it around the end may last year and have done absolutely nothing with it since other that put it into storage!

When it went into storage it was running but has no tax and mot the last time it was on the road was around 1993 by the looks of the tax disc in the window.

At some point some one has stripped the front end and fitted new front wings and a new front panel (not me) all the bits are in the back of the van from what i can see - the body isn't in bad shape, neither are the doors or tail gate the engine bay also looks clean enough. However the under side at the rear does need some welding and some one has started on the rear arches, it has been under sealed in the past so there is some protection under there. I will also add it needs a new diesel tank as it was weeping a bit. I'm unsure exactly how much work it needs to get it road worthy as i have only looked underneath briefly when it was on the back of the truck (see photos)

It has quite a cool number plate and a roof rack too!

This van is by no means passed it (i drove to scotland from bedfordshire to look at it then went back the next weekend to collect it lol so its worth that much) and it would be a shame to see it go to waist so i'm putting it up for a new home :-D
