Rysee's massive wanted list

Basically I need everything for a C16XE conversion other then the engine, box and ancilleries. I am going from a 1ltr pushrod so many parts needed

Heres my list how i see it, there will be things i will have forgot to consider or have wrong any help with the list is much appreciated but here we go


C16SE or 1400 SRi pulley
GSi/GTE Rad and hoses
Injection tank and pump - Now got
Drivers side engine mount - Now got
2ltr brake calipers(I have disks and pads) - Now got
Exhaust - Now got

Wiper motor, the early type - Awaiting

you will also need a cranksensor pulley, any bogo std one wont work

Ahh I knew i'd seen some somewhere, i'll pm him

What would the pulley with the Cranksensor come off?

1400 SRi pully mate, C16SE too. Astra's come with them presuming they have the Single V.
You also only need the drivers side engine mount, others are the same as your 1.0.

Have got an e16se airbox that I bought from Tommy_Nova for a car that didn't happen. I paid £20 inc postage for it and you can have it for that if you want.

Just need the Bottom pulley and Rad now and some rear shocks

you can run ribbed mate i am in mine and i have about 15 mm or so clearance i think baxter andburgo ran them aswell

what you doing about pump and tank?
exhaust manifold an early c16xe should drop straight on to an sr mid section but a later x16xe wont as i found

gte gsi 8v fly wheel is flat type and alot lighter
aswell

I've never changed a clutch, was just going to get it in and see how it is.

I've got a full magnex for a mk1 SR so sorted exhaust wise. Got a Bosch external pump this week and waiting on a brand new mpi tank too

Some people say they go without the changing the pulley others say they don't, 15mm is hell of a a lot of difference between cars that do and don't fit it with the V

Well im running an XE with the twin v pulley on everybody says you carnt!

trust me mate my motors are straight and without trying to sound smug one of the cleanest shells you will ever come across ( look at my 4x4 tread for pics of my green one) the lads that have seen it will varify that

the differences come when you get wear in mounts ect all my rubbers ect are brand new!

the exhaust you have if your using a later front pipe they wont meet up anywhere near! early one should though chap
