well im a good bit further on with the welding than the pics show but still a fair bit to go. and yes, the last pic is my rebuilt 1300 with a few mods tucked into my wardrobe in the bedroom. i only wish someone could have takin a pic of my mums face when i carryed it though the house he he. im going to need lots of help plus im lookin to start another project and my bro is lookin the garage to put a v-tec in his old mini so space is getting tight. so all comments and pointers will be well appreciated, plus the abuse when im slackin and takein to long. cheers

im in tyrone, Omagh what about you?

the shell isnt all as sound as it looks, had to fix a few wee bits, nothing major though thankfully for to be honest its my first project and the first time ive welded :S and this brings me to my first prob. the battery tray isnt in good shape, its been worked at before (along with a few other bits) and its not a good job so just choped the lot of it out(that the sand blastin had left).

i was thinkin of removin that pannel that splits the bay from the fan motor. but if it was removed the wiper motor would have nowhere to fix to so is there a way of changin the wiper motor to work without that devide and what other down sides is there to removin this? im sure i did see somethin like this here a good few years ago but could never find it again.
cheers again lads
