ive just picked up my pipe cam n pullly, all in the cam carried as well. is it basically a straight swap over the carrier, new cambelt and set the timing up?

To take the cam carrier off, you need to take the head bolts out, so change the head gasket as well as the head bolts too.

if you are very careful & drain the water, you can do it without doing the head gasket.

or just get the tool so you dont have to undo the head bolts

this is a job I'm thinking of doing aswell. would you need to set the carb up differently or retune it?

it will need setting up again to get the most from the cam
