View Full Version : squeak & noisy clutch
I have noticed recently me clutch has become noisy when I move away. Any ideas how to sort this?
Also, when I move away I get a squeaky type sound. Would this be a wheel bearing on the way out, or brake related? Or is it again to do with the clutch?
Cheers Ant

Could be the clutch bearing for both! Also the sqeeky noise could also just be coming from the clutch pedel. Spray a bit of WD on it & see if it is...
hmm sounds more like the squeak is coming from the outside, right front wheel

hmm? Does it just happen when you are just setting off or does it also happen in between gear changes aswell?
I think its just setting off

I'd Replace the cable, could be stretching under load or something???
The thing is that the clutch is on the left side of the car (from drivers seat) which is why i suggested belts, which are on the right....
Your wheels were done right wern't they, not by a cowboy?
